About The Position

This is an hourly, part-time position providing mentorship and advocacy for youth and families throughout Westbrook. The ideal candidate will be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings. All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model. This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage ($0.50/mile), and activity reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient Computer Skills including Microsoft Office; knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus
  • Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking is a plus
  • Reliable transportation with current auto coverage and valid driver's license is a requirement.
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
