AML Technology is seeking an Advisory Technical Business Analyst for the AML Tech Data Development Team. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to lead in projects, BAU, and technical initiatives. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a challenging IT system solution environment.
- Proficient with relational databases, SQL Queries, data mappings and data analysis
- Expertise in documenting end-to-end data lineage, including source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and data flow across upstream and downstream systems to ensure traceability, auditability, and regulatory compliance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Engineering or Computer Science degree
- Fi/Baking/AML experience
- knowledge of Hadoop
- Google Cloud Services
- Agile and DevOps team experience
Responsibilities
- Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment of both functional and non-functional requirements and determining high level work efforts
- Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders and translate those to technical requirements for the developers
- Improve and drive best practices by providing valuable inputs and suggestions as to what works well and what can be done better
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by information sharing and team cooperation
