This role involves joining project teams that provide technical assistance and operational support for Medicare payment policies and programs. The focus is on current and emerging work related to Medicare programs, specifically implementing, monitoring, and improving value-based care and alternative payment models. The position will include providing operational support to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to help develop and/or implement new value-based payment policies and programs, and/or providing technical assistance to stakeholders such as state and federal health agencies or healthcare providers. Additionally, Advisory Services Analysts will work on or support project management, change management, and business development. Analysts will likely be staffed on 2-3 projects at a time, with many projects requiring client contact.
