The Advisory Senior Consultant position reports to the team Manager and involves performing a major segment of a cost management engagement, participating in discussions with client executives, and assisting with drafting deliverables for presentation to high-level executives at a federal agency. Sikich offers a diverse platform of professional services across consulting, technology, and compliance to both public and private sectors, with highly specialized and hands-on teams delivering integrated solutions rooted in deep industry experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Expected to report to the Alexandria office.
  • US Citizenship required
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Managerial Cost Accounting/Activity Based Costing (alternately, coursework in cost accounting or a CGFM certification would work)
  • Cost modeling leveraging different tools (SAP/CostPerform/Oracle, others)
  • Dashboarding (Tableau/PowerBI)
  • Financial management

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and maintain an activity based cost model that helps Identify the full costs of a federal agency
  • Work with a team of consultants and the federal client to coordinate model development and report quarterly
  • Perform regular model updates Including desk procedures, model manuals and responding to ad hoc financial reporting requests from the client
