About The Position

At Elanco, a global animal-health company, this role provides strategic leadership for US product launch readiness and the global Product Change Alignment Process (PCAP). The Advisor guides multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams and serves as a key liaison to senior stakeholders to bring pipeline assets to market, manage product changes and geographic expansion, and optimize speed to market in support of commercial objectives.

The position oversees, coaches, and develops a high-performing team responsible for US product launches and global PCAP execution. It drives continuous improvement of Launch Excellence and PCAP frameworks, oversees geo-expansion prioritization, manages cross-functional governance, removes roadblocks, and reports launch status and PCAP metrics to senior stakeholders. The role supervises four direct reports: Senior Consultant, Launch Leader, US PH Vet; Senior Associate Manager, Launch Leader, US PH OTV; Senior Associate Manager, Launch Leader, US Farm Animal; and Senior Analyst, PCAP & Portfolio Optimization (US-based).

The role requires 10% domestic and international travel for team meetings and to facilitate product launches. The employee must live within commuting distance of the assigned Elanco office and meet the requirement to work from the office 30 days per quarter.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in product-launch-related roles.
• Five years of experience applying knowledge of veterinary products, animal-health clinical knowledge, disease treatment, and veterinary practice environments to product commercialization.
• Five years of experience working in the pharmaceutical or veterinary sciences industry.
• Five years of experience in program management and strategic process improvement.
• Five years of experience guiding, coaching, and developing teams in a matrix environment, together with product launch and program management experience.
• Five years of cross-functional, launch-related expertise in Manufacturing & Quality, Research & Development, Regulatory Affairs, and commercial matters.
• Five years of experience identifying interdependencies and mitigating related product-launch risks.
• PMP certification.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10% for team meetings and to facilitate product launches.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a multidisciplinary team responsible for advancing Elanco’s commercial success.
• Serve as a key liaison to senior stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams in bringing pipeline assets to market.
• Manage product changes, including the global geo-expansion strategy.
• Oversee, coach, and develop the team responsible for US product launches and the global PCAP process.
• Provide strategic oversight for US launch readiness initiatives, aligning them with commercial objectives and optimizing speed to market.
• Direct the global Product Change Alignment Process, including prioritizing geographic expansions and ensuring the framework operates efficiently.
• Continuously improve and evolve the Launch Excellence and PCAP frameworks to enhance efficiency and accelerate time to market.
• Manage cross-functional governance, remove roadblocks, and report launch status and PCAP metrics to senior stakeholders.
