About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide value to customers and the industry by delivering technical support that helps achieve business objectives established with the North America Director of Technical Services and the North America General Manager. Key responsibilities include providing technical support and best management practices to customers and the industry within the North American Business Unit; developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and communications; delivering market intelligence and product performance feedback to identify gaps and support long-term strategic planning; supporting the development and launch of new products; achieving financial and business unit objectives; championing a culture of biosecurity; providing feedback and support to North America internal operations; and continuously developing skills and qualifications to become a more effective team member. This position will be located within the assigned service area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, typically obtained through four (4) years of college-level study.
  • At least four (4) years of related experience required.
  • Direct experience with breeders and broilers is required.
  • Basic computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must use safe lifting techniques at all times.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (e.g., chickens, ducks, birds).
  • The Company’s Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.
  • When visiting facilities, employees are expected to follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
