About The Position

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will partner with leaders across multiple business areas, providing expert recruitment guidance, delivering innovative talent solutions, and championing ATCO’s Employee Value Proposition to attract and engage exceptional talent. In this 18‑month opportunity, you will lead end-to-end recruitment, influence hiring decisions, and collaborate across a complex organization to create meaningful candidate experiences that reflect our people-first culture. Through every interaction, you will promote ATCO as an employer of choice, helping build the talent and capabilities that drive our success today and into the future.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of in-house recruitment with demonstrated experience recruiting corporate and professional roles in a large, complex organization with multiple business units, or affiliated companies
  • Undergraduate degree from a recognized educational institution in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Experience working with an ATS; Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) is a strong asset
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the tact, professionalism, and communication abilities needed to build trust, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across teams
  • A genuine interest in promoting ATCO’s employee value proposition, supporting a positive candidate experience, and continuously enhancing your recruitment skills

Nice To Haves

  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and/or Registered Professional Recruitment (RPR) designation is preferred
  • Experience recruiting unionized roles is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs and deliver full cycle internal and external recruitment, including job postings, shortlisting, pre-screening, interview support, offer letters, pre-employment and onboarding
  • Build diverse talent pipelines through on-campus recruitment events, and early talent recruitment initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain diverse talent pipelines by actively sourcing candidates through community organizations, post-secondary institutions, employment agencies, professional networks, recruitment events, and digital platforms.
  • Work closely with recruiters across ATCO’s businesses to support recruitment for both internal and external candidates
  • Provide recruitment insight and regular updates to leaders and Human Resource Business Partners
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
