About The Position

This individual contributor position within the supply chain planning function in the Pharmaceutical Division is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. It includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management, as well as demand, supply, and manufacturing planning. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with numerous cross-functional stakeholders to build and deliver a consensus demand plan that considers historical trends, seasonality, promotional activities, and product transition plans, while balancing financial targets. As we continuously evolve and improve our planning capabilities, this role will also involve learning new forecasting tools and processes to drive cross-functional collaboration, improve forecast accuracy, and support long-term sales strategies. As an individual contributor, this role will also support deep diving into data, deriving insights amongst ambiguity, and presenting findings that influence business-critical decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, operations research or equivalent work experience, preferred; Master’s degree a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning roles preferred
  • Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) Planner experience a plus
  • Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel preferred, SQL/Tableau a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience building/maintaining statistical forecast models preferred
  • APICS certifications and SAP/Planning system (Manhattan, Kinaxis etc.) experience, preferred
  • Experience in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) preferred
  • Must be a self-starter with strong strategic influence

Responsibilities

  • Leverage internal demand planning system, creating short-term and long-term demand forecast plans, and lead cross-functional meetings to drive demand consensus.
  • As part of Integrated Business Planning, review historical sales trends, research demand drivers and validate demand inputs to enhance forecast derived from off-the-shelf forecast models and evaluate forecast results for different categories.
  • Work closely with category owners to understand business growth strategy, reconcile significant forecast variances and refine forecast model inputs to reflect updated sales and marketing strategies, and improve forecast accuracy across different categories.
  • Support ongoing process improvements and automation of demand planning tools to reduce manual data aggregation and increase visibility to the forecast analysis.
  • Partner closely with customers and sales team, and IQVIA to leverage customers’ data/IQVIA data to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Communicate ideas concisely to a wide variety of stakeholders for purposes ranging from informative to financial approval from executives.
  • Provide support with data analytics, root cause analysis, and problem resolution of inventory concerns or issues.
  • Support MSO (Managed Service Organization) teams and sales team to identify opportunities and/or risks as part of collaborative planning.
  • Responsible for identifying and mitigating future service level disruptions.
  • Ad-hoc analytics related to inventory management business objectives.
