About The Position

Trillium Health Partners (THP) is one of Canada’s largest community-based hospital systems. The Supply Chain Insights and Standardization Department supports safe, high-quality, and sustainable care by strengthening supply chain operations, improving product-related intake processes, and promoting standardization across the hospital. The department works collaboratively with clinical teams, Mohawk Medbuy Corporation partners, and vendors to improve product selection, product standardization, and support reliable, continuous access to the products needed to support patient care. The Advisor, Supply Chain Operations serves a key role in advancing many of the strategic initiatives to enhance current supply chain operations. The Advisor provides leadership in advising, planning, and delivering operational improvements and strategic initiatives that strengthen Trillium Health Partners’ supply chain. Scope of work includes supporting process improvement and standardization, leveraging data insights to improve inventory management and reduce waste, and advancing efficient service delivery across clinical and operational areas. The role works in partnership with Logistics, clinical teams, vendors, and enabling partners to implement new technologies, streamline workflows, improve visibility and accountability, support sustainability and cost efficiency, and ensure continuity of products and services across the hospital.

Requirements

  • Supply chain experience in a project manager, leadership, or advisor capacity, preferably in a hospital or similar environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of supply chain operational improvement projects, including defining milestones, tracking progress, and ensuring work is completed on schedule in alignment with Supply Chain leadership priorities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess operational challenges, recommend practical approaches, and support decision-making for strategic supply chain initiatives.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes, build and operationalize KPIs, support change management activities, and coordinate communications to promote adoption and ensure consistent adherence to new ways of working.
  • Analyze supply chain data and current operational practices and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, support cost savings, and strengthen operational performance.
