About The Position

Temporary position for 12 months. As an Advisor, Philanthropy and Sponsorships, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of partnerships, including commercial sponsorships, cause-related marketing initiatives, and philanthropic programs. This cross-functional role spans the entire partnership lifecycle, from opportunity analysis to negotiation, implementation, and performance monitoring. You will contribute to maximizing commercial, social, and reputational outcomes while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, values, and governance frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in sponsorships, marketing, partnerships, or philanthropy
  • Experience in a cross-functional role involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with english-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Expertise in analysis, negotiation, and partnership management
  • Ability to balance business objectives with social impact

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and recommend partnerships (sponsorships, cause marketing, philanthropy) based on business objectives, social impact, risk considerations, and strategic alignment, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and oversee contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and managing renewals and amendments.
  • Coordinate the activation and management of partnerships by collaborating with internal teams and external partners, ensuring rigorous execution aligned with objectives.
  • Monitor performance and reporting through key performance indicators, post-mortems, and documented optimization recommendations.
  • Manage financial, administrative, and continuous improvement aspects (budgets, payments, strategic monitoring, internal advisory support, and practice optimization).
  • Manage commercial sponsorships to generate business opportunities (leads, market development) and support marketing plans, while measuring and optimizing outcomes (ROI/ROO).
  • Develop and lead cause-related sponsorships, ensuring a balance between visibility, social impact, and alignment with organizational values and priorities.
  • Contribute to philanthropic initiatives by evaluating requests, tracking commitments, and maximizing value for members and clients, the community, and the organization.
