About The Position

As a member/client service advisor, sales, you help maintain business relationships with members and clients. You help manage, monitor and resolve distressed loans and bad debt of particular or unusual type. You negotiate with practitioners up to your discretionary limit in accordance with current practices. You carry out the necessary steps with the customers to recover the amounts due and minimize the losses. You represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with clients. You also have opportunities to establish and negotiate product and service terms in accordance with current standards and procedures. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to : Evaluate and analyze the risks relating to certain types of special or unusual cases. Propose and implement solutions to minimize the risk of loss. Communicates with clients and suggests repayment methods in order to resolve the situation. Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention. Collect, compile and analyze data. Prepare reports and recommendations. Help identify your unit’s operational risks and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • General college diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
