Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with management to develop initiatives to promote growth across each segment of our Medicare book Work with management to develop and execute a plan to create Medicare referral partners and downline producers from other NFP offices Drive initiatives to license and appoint in geographies that are currently underserved – MN, IA, NE, ND, SD and WI Evaluate opportunities for individual products that can fill a need for vulnerable clients, to include short term, gap, or stacked benefit options Stay current on new product developments in the Medicare market Conduct educational Medicare presentations as a means of outreach to groups and community partners Outside of peak season, develop strategies for cross-sale opportunities and lead flow Grow personal Medicare book of business Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: Knowledge of Medicare health insurance markets Knowledge of how Medicare plans work with group benefits and COBRA Demonstrated ability to grow a book of business Willingness to reach out to develop new relationships that will feed the sales funnel Demonstrated ability to develop creative approaches to growing a block of business Ability to work independently Effective time management Diligent follow up and outreach skills Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications Commanding presentation and public speaking abilities Discerning decision-making skills Education and/or Experience: Associates degree (or equivalent), and BA/BS preferred More than 3 years’ industry and product line experience Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Appropriately licensed or ability to obtain licensing if required What We Offer: We're proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, exclusive discount programs, health & wellness programs, and more. The base salary range for this position is $52,000 to $81,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. NFP and You... Better Together! Requirements

  • Knowledge of Medicare health insurance markets
  • Knowledge of how Medicare plans work with group benefits and COBRA
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a book of business
