About The Position

The Financial Information team is responsible for the administration of reinsurance treaties and fund remuneration agreements, as well as providing financial information management services to all sectors of the Personal Insurance Vice-Presidency (PI VP). The incumbent is responsible for carrying out financial information and internal control activities. They play a support and collaboration role within the team, while contributing to various mandates related to their area of expertise. More specifically, you will be responsible for: Carrying out complex analyses and reconciliations. Approving adjustments, analyses, and reconciliations within the prescribed deadlines and with the expected quality. Supporting the team with operational issues, assisting in resolving challenges when required. Participating in work required by financial governance and external auditors. Contributing to various accounting-related mandates and initiatives. Supporting our various client sectors by providing them with the required accounting support and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Member of the CPA order
  • Experience in internal controls
  • Knowledge of French necessary
  • Advanced intermediate English proficiency due to the nature of the tasks, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners, members, and clients
  • Proficiency in accounting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite
