About The Position

At Bank of America, the Advisor Development Program Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I) role begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses, including dedicated study time for the Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Upon licensure, the trainee will learn foundational advisor skills such as acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial pictures, and guiding clients with advice and solutions to improve their financial lives. After achieving key milestones, the ADP FSA I will work in a financial center, delivering Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions. Successful ADP FSA I individuals typically progress to the Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) stage, transitioning to a local Merrill Wealth Management office to build a portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients. The ultimate goal is to become a core Merrill Financial Advisor, with support from The Academy throughout the career journey. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check, and failure to maintain registration may result in termination. Nice To Haves

  • Experience assessing client needs, identifying/recommending solutions, and building/managing client relationships
