About The Position

At Bank of America, the Advisor Development Program is designed for individuals passionate about building a long-term career and improving clients' financial lives. From day one, participants receive training from the award-winning Academy at Bank of America, including hands-on practice, personalized coaching, and dedicated support. The program offers a defined path to becoming an advisor through a multi-stage training process. As a Financial Solutions Advisor within the centralized segment, the journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated classes. Once licensed, individuals are taught foundational advisor skills, such as acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial situations, and providing advice and solutions. They then join the centralized team as phone-based licensed advisors, offering holistic financial advice and guidance by identifying product and service solutions for investment, savings, and liability management. FSAs demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets, applying principles to client needs and aligning Merrill and Bank of America products. The program equips participants to progress into the Merrill Financial Advisor role, working with affluent and high net worth clients, identifying needs, developing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and preparing investment recommendations. The Academy provides continuous support, tools, and resources throughout the career journey within Merrill Wealth Management.
