As a Financial Solutions Advisor within the centralized segment of the Advisor Development Program, your journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) through dedicated classes. Once licensed, you will learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, and guiding clients with financial advice and solutions. Financial Solutions Advisors in the centralized segment are phone-based licensed advisors who provide holistic financial advice, identify product and service solutions, demonstrate investment knowledge, and align Merrill and Bank of America offerings. The program provides training and guidance to progress into a Merrill Financial Advisor role, working with affluent and high net worth clients to identify needs, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare recommendations. Successful FSAs typically advance to Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) within the Advisor Development Program, supported by the Academy with programs, tools, and resources.
