About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services. They specialize in goals-based wealth management, including planning for retirement, education, legacy, and other life goals through investment advice and guidance. Merrill's Financial Advisors and Wealth Management Client Associates help clients pursue their financial aspirations through personal relationships and access to Merrill's investment insights and Bank of America's banking convenience. The company is committed to an in-office culture with specific attendance requirements, while also allowing flexibility based on role-specific considerations. Merrill values diversity and empowers employees to bring their whole selves to work, fostering a culture-driven, resilient, and results-focused work community. As a Financial Solutions Advisor within the centralized segment of the Advisor Development Program, your journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 Exams) through dedicated and personalized classes. Once licensed, you will learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial pictures, and guiding clients with advice and solutions. You will then join the centralized team as a phone-based licensed Financial Solutions Advisor, providing holistic financial advice and guidance, identifying product and service solutions, demonstrating investment knowledge, and aligning Merrill and Bank of America offerings. The program provides necessary training and guidance to progress into the Merrill Financial Advisor role, working with affluent and high net worth clients to identify needs, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare recommendations. Upon demonstrating success as an FSA, you typically advance to a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA) within the Advisor Development Program, supported by The Academy with dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career.
