Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or strategic consulting, preferably within the Life Sciences or Animal Health industry.
  • Proven ability to connect disparate data points into a cohesive strategic narrative.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and automated data extraction.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM applications for research and synthesis.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead a world-class competitive intelligence framework, establishing standardized processes for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating insights aligned with Elanco's strategic pillars.
  • Serve as a central intelligence hub, building partnerships with field teams and technical experts across R&D, Marketing, and Commercial teams to gather expert insights, aggregate data and track competitor pipelines.
  • Develop and manage an automated technology stack, leveraging AI-driven tools to efficiently collect and synthesize large volumes of information from sources like news, patent filings, and financial reports.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to distill complex market shifts, competitor activities, and emerging trends into actionable "so-what" implications for Elanco’s 2030 strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver regular, data-driven updates and strategic recommendations to Senior Management and the Executive Committee to inform high-stakes decision-making.
