About The Position

This is a temporary position for 12 months. As a communications advisor, you will help promote the organization’s projects, policies, and programs by designing and developing communications and sharing them within Desjardins Group and with its members and clients. You will help establish and promote the organization’s online brand image by creating, managing, and updating social and digital media communications and serving as a social media community manager. You will advise and assist clients and partners on the management of internal Desjardins events that raise the organization's profile. You will recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies, and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You will prepare recommendations, solutions, and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. You will help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of the line of business. Coordination is critical, so you will frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to support and advise clients, diagnose event management issues, challenges, and needs to determine target outcomes, help develop and implement objectives, service offers, specifications, submissions, and innovative solutions, and analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations, and write reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written
