About The Position

This is an entry-level position at Terre Haute Casino Resort, a property featuring 1,000 slot machines, 35 table games, a 122-room luxury hotel, and multiple dining and bar options. The Advertising and Promotions Coordinator will be responsible for executing on and off-property promotions and events as directed by marketing leadership. This role also involves executing the social media strategy, assisting with on-property signage needs, and supporting other advertising requirements in collaboration with the marketing agency.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience required.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Must be organized.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Candidate will frequently be required to walk, stand, use hands and reach with hands and arms.
• Candidate will occasionally climb stairs.
• Candidate will occasionally sit.
• Candidate is frequently required to talk and hear.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. is required.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Completes logs and other paperwork as required.
• Updates and maintains the website content.
• Provides information about events and activities to guests.
• Actively markets all property amenities to guests.
• Executes promotions and events in accordance with promotional rules and guidelines.
• Performs casino announcements in a clear, concise, upbeat manner.
• Works with the marketing agency and marketing leadership to develop and execute a social media strategy.
• Ensures all on-property signage needs are met by working with all departments.
• Works with the marketing agency to ensure advertising needs requiring property involvement are completed.
• Assists Casino Hosts in servicing guests through issuing comps, player cards, and general account servicing.
• May issue complimentary items in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
