About The Position

Adventure Sales Specialist $58,000 annual base pay + plus commission and bonus. On Target Earnings year 1 ~$70,000 with substantial upside in year 2+ Denver, CO (hybrid - 2-3x per week in office) Are you a sales talent with a passion for active travel? Requirements

  • Experience in a target driven Sales role.
  • A desire to deliver high end customer service.
  • A keen interest in travel and passion for learning about new destinations.
  • Able to work under pressure, motivated to achieve targets and demonstrate a positive attitude.
  • Able to self-organize and manage competing priorities.
  • A strong team player, you understand the importance of collaboration and support your colleagues and the company in achieving shared goals.
  • Must be in the Denver-metro area.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and establish deadlines to ensure competing objectives are met.
  • Interpersonal and team skills which enable you to build great relationships internally and externally.
  • Highly confident, competent and articulate individual who can communicate professionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced and fluent in using IT systems such as email, livechat, phones, booking/company systems and MS office suite.
  • Learning orientated.
  • Resilient and flexible.
  • A hands-on individual willing to go the extra mile for customers, colleagues and the business.
  • Creative thinking, adaptability and communication skills are key skills for any role.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the customer has an unforgettable experience throughout their journey with Macs Adventure from initial enquiry to on-trip support.
  • Respond to different types of customer enquiries and convert these into confirmed bookings.
  • Follow up on calls and leads while being able to take on new enquiries through phone, email and live chat.
  • Deliver a high level of customer experience as you will be the first contact a customer has with Macs.
  • Achieve and exceed personal and team targets without compromising the customer journey.
  • Work towards becoming a destination specialist.
  • Prioritize new enquiries and customers questions which can increase during our season.
  • Be fully competent in the Sales Process, be able to adapt to the different priorities the departure season brings.
