Advanced Verification & Validation Engineer

About The Position

As an Advanced V&V Engineer, you will be part of the Verification and Validation (V&V) organization, performing and co-leading system V&V teams on Fire Alarm control panels and devices. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting product validation activities for NPI and O&M projects, including automation and manual testing. You will support extending the internally developed test framework and utilizing the framework to perform tests. The custom test framework involves robotics, computer vision, distributed computing, and sensor simulation. Extending the hardware test fixture framework will also be required. There will be opportunities to learn new technologies, which is encouraged. Requirements

  • Experience in Verification and Validation (V&V).
  • Experience with Fire Alarm control panels and devices.
  • Experience with automation and manual testing.
  • Experience extending test frameworks.
  • Familiarity with robotics, computer vision, distributed computing, and sensor simulation.
  • Experience extending hardware test fixture frameworks.
