About The Position

This role involves developing control, data collection, and signal processing systems. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting various systems including PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, electronic circuits, electro-mechanical systems, PID controllers, and electronic sensors. Key duties include ensuring new equipment operates satisfactorily, preparing manuals, training maintenance staff, and monitoring equipment for product validation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in the electrical and electronics field.
• Strong process control background, including temperature and pressure controls, strain gages/load cells, signal conditioners, and lasers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Competent with PLC programming, control panel layout, and construction.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Flexible and open-minded to assist and perform any task as required by management, not limited to the above criteria listed.

Responsibilities

• Develop control, data collection, and signal processing systems.
• Troubleshoot existing PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, electronic circuits, electro-mechanical systems, PID controllers, and electronic sensors of all types.
• Ensure satisfactory operation of new equipment.
• Prepare operating and training manuals.
• Train maintenance staff to service critical electronic components.
• Monitor and adjust, as necessary, any equipment validating product.
