About The Position

As a Model-Based Systems Engineer for Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying the next generation of Strategic Weapon Systems using cutting-edge MBSE methodologies and digital engineering practices. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain SysML models, including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams.
  • Experience applying MBSE to architect complex systems, including functional decomposition, interface definition, and trade study analysis.
  • Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards with an MBSE-first mindset.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, DOORS Next Generation) and their integration with system models.
  • Experience working within DoDAF or similar architecture frameworks to support digital engineering initiatives.
  • Creative thinker who can leverage MBSE models to quickly communicate complex system designs and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and champions MBSE adoption across cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, particularly in advancing MBSE practices and digital engineering capabilities.

  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-leading MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
