Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership, including system design, architecture, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using engineering tools and technologies relevant to systems development.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in complex system integration projects
  • Experience with model-based system design
  • Experience with Simulink is of value
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies with proven ability to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
  • Experience with working with sensors used for aircraft position, navigation (air data, AHRS, GPS) is of value
  • Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC) is of value
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, systems integration and verification of advanced avionics systems, including hardware, software, and network components
  • Development, systems integration and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics application to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
  • Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards
  • Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data.
