About The Position

As an Advanced Systems Engineer - Flight Control Systems here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating highly complex avionics systems while focusing on Automatic Flight Controls Systems including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and future UAM/UAS. You will play a crucial role in creating system solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers, engaging in every aspect of the systems lifecycle from business development to product end of life. Honeywell Anthem is the industry's 1st Cloud-Connected "always-on" Integrated Cockpit system, featuring cloud-native communications, navigation, and surveillance systems, powered by a flexible software platform that can be customized for virtually every type of aircraft, from passenger planes and business aircraft to defense, general aviation and the rapidly emerging class of Advanced Air-Mobility (AAM) vehicles.

Requirements

  • Design, develop, and integrate highly complex avionics systems.
  • Focus on Automatic Flight Controls Systems for fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and future UAM/UAS.
  • Create system solutions addressing evolving customer needs.
  • Engage in all aspects of the systems lifecycle from business development to product end of life.
  • Experience with Honeywell Anthem, a cloud-connected Integrated Cockpit system.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native communications, navigation, and surveillance systems.
  • Experience with flexible software platforms for aircraft customization.
  • Experience with Advanced Air-Mobility (AAM) vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in model-based systems development and integration activities.
  • Perform systems validation and verification to ensure compliance with regulations.
