Advanced Software Engineer - Developer Experience
About The Position
Honeywell’s Security and Access Solutions business provides high-value security products and services that are critical for buildings around the globe. Building operators and security teams across dynamically evolving verticals depend on our mobile- and cloud-enabled technologies for access control, intrusion detection, and locking solutions to help create safer and more efficient facilities. We are seeking a skilled software engineer with a strong background in automation and orchestration, along with a passion for enhancing developer experience, to join our Cloud Solutions group. In this role, you will build internal platforms, developer tooling, CI/CD systems, automation frameworks, and engineering workflows that enable product teams to deliver software faster and more reliably. The ideal candidate is self-directed, able to navigate ambiguity, and capable of driving technical initiatives with minimal supervision. This role requires collaboration with a global team to support our Azure-hosted security products and platforms. The person in this position will work closely with the engineering team throughout all stages of product development. The contributions of this role will be vital in ensuring the highest levels of reliability, availability, and performance as demanded by our customers who rely on our advanced physical security solutions.
