Here, you will make an impact by: Operating as a critical member of a multidisciplinary technology development team Identifying and developing new ceramic applications through process development and experimentation Driving the implementation of new ceramic technologies into existing and future product lines Documenting, communicating, and disseminating research results to team members, business partners, and global stakeholders Driving successful technology scale-up from laboratory scale to full manufacturing Troubleshooting manufacturing process disruptions and product quality issue

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, chemistry, or a material science discipline from an accredited institution, completed and verified prior to start.
  • Two (2) years of academic or industrial experience in ceramic processing, including forming and sintering techniques in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in engineering, chemistry, or material science from an accredited university
  • 5+ years of industrial experience in ceramic processing, including forming and sintering techniques
  • Direct experience with fabrication and synthesis processes for ceramics
  • Proven track record using Design of Experiments (DOE) to solve complex technical problems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data for multidisciplinary teams
  • Highly inquisitive mindset with a demonstrated ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, technical environment.
