About The Position

Pacific Northwest Fertility & IVF Specialists, a state-of-the-art clinic offering a wide variety of treatments ranging from basic care to the most advanced fertility technologies, is looking for a full time, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team at our Vancouver location. This role is integral to our clinical operations and plays a key part in delivering a seamless, personalized experience for every patient. The ARNP we are seeking must be energetic, organized, and self-directed with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other health care professionals, and patients. This position requires a confident practitioner with high levels of professionalism and compassion who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can practice independently. This role is for a satellite office and will require a candidate who is independent and excels at communication with a team, even from a distance.

Requirements

  • Progressively responsible ARNP experience.
  • Must have one of the following: Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license or Physician Assistant license in Washington State.
  • CPR Certification (BLS Healthcare provider level at a minimum).
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with EMRs and computer skills.
  • May require travel to our Bellevue/Seattle offices

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably 3 years' experience in Women's Health and/or OB/GYN (with experience in ASC, surgery or procedural, PACU, recovery care or fertility).
  • Ultrasound experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to patients throughout fertility treatment.
  • Monitor patients through IVF cycle and 3rd party reproduction in conjunction with the physician team.
  • Perform procedures such as pelvic ultrasound, intrauterine insemination, saline infusion sonography, and hysterosalpingograms.
  • Early pregnancy monitoring: Targeted evaluation and management of patients presenting with early pregnancy, miscarriage, or ectopic pregnancy. This is usually done in consultation with the physician.
  • New patient evaluation, history, and physical exams; order appropriate testing; interpret test results; diagnose and recommend appropriate plan of care with treatment options. Focus is on the treatment of the female patient.
  • Manage patients trying for pregnancy using ovarian stimulation medications and/or insemination. Create treatment plans for ovulation induction and IUI cycles.
  • Educate and document in patients' electronic medical records.
  • Other duties as assigned
