About The Position

Medical Associates Clinic is seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team located in our Cascade and Dyersville locations. This is a 4-day workweek position. Medical Associates Clinic is a physician-owned multi-specialty group practice with over 200 providers and 900 healthcare professionals serving Northeast Iowa, Southwest Wisconsin, and Northwest Illinois.

Requirements

• Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
• Comfortable seeing newborns through adults, procedures including splinting and injections, splinting (or willing to learn).
• Equivalent to a college degree and a professional certificate or a graduate degree.
• Must be a licensed ARNP or PA.
• The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Newborn through adults, walk-in appointments
• Procedures including suturing and injections
• Splinting
• Work independently without a physician onsite
• Provide direct medical care under the direction of supervising physician; including but not limited to: obtaining histories, physical exams, ordering and interpreting appropriate lab and x ray studies, establishing diagnosis, and initiating treatment plan.
• Provide patient education to promote wellness and support disease management process.
• Complete all other assigned projects and duties as assigned.
