About The Position

We are hiring an Advanced Quality Inspector to support electronics manufacturing and defense programs by ensuring products, assemblies, and materials meet stringent IPC, J-STD, MIL-STD, and quality assurance standards. This role requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and experience performing inspections, defect evaluation, corrective action verification, and quality documentation in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance required at time of hire.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 4 years of directly related quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Solid understanding of: ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control, IPC workmanship standards, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Statistical process control and quality assurance methodologies
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems and components.
  • Experience performing product inspections, defect evaluation, quality documentation, and corrective action verification.

  • Additional experience supporting defense, aerospace, electronics manufacturing, or other highly regulated production environments.
  • Certifications in one or more of the following may be required: J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC-A-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, X-Ray Inspection Certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of parts, materials, assemblies, and finished products to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, workmanship standards, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct real-time defect identification, evaluation, and root cause analysis during manufacturing and production activities.
  • Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions and rework processes to prevent recurring quality issues.
  • Ensure all parts, materials, and assemblies remain properly identified and fully traceable throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Complete and maintain quality assurance documentation, inspection reports, nonconformance records, and supporting audit documentation.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to validate product conformance.
  • Inspect electrical and mechanical assemblies using established quality standards and industry specifications.
  • Support manufacturing teams by ensuring products meet company, customer, and regulatory quality requirements.
  • Interface with internal teams and suppliers as needed to resolve quality issues and support continuous process improvement.
