Fisher Dynamics is currently seeking a Advanced Quality Engineer - Entry Level for our Corporate Quality Team located in Saint Clair Shores, MI. This position is responsible for planning and directing activities surrounding the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards and for all quality assurance aspects of new product launches.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing
• Knowledge of GD&T principles
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• High proficiency in print reading and interpretation
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, customers, and suppliers
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct the AQP process in accordance with customer requirements
• Develop control plan documents
• Compile PPAP package and coordinate submission to customer
• Audit processes performed by production staff relative to methods and manufacturing instructions
• Identify and drive corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool
