About The Position

Greater Philadelphia Health Action (GPHA) is a non-profit healthcare organization founded in 1970, dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and affordable healthcare services to underserved communities. GPHA has grown into a leading provider of ambulatory medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare in the Greater Philadelphia area, offering on-site services like laboratory, pharmacy, and language interpretation. GPHA is currently seeking a full-time or part-time Nurse-Midwife or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join their multidisciplinary healthcare team. This team includes primary care clinicians, specialists, medical case managers, nurses, and behavioral health therapists. The role involves providing a wide range of services such as well-woman care, prenatal and postpartum care, contraceptive management, procedure-based care, and screening/treatment for sexually transmitted infections. The provider will also offer selected services for male partners, including genetic counseling and STI treatment, and will practice under the supervision of the Director of Women’s Health Services.

Requirements

• Nurse-Midwife or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
• Practice under the supervision of the Director of Women’s Health Services, a Board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of services including but not limited to: Well woman care, Prenatal and postpartum care, Contraceptive management, Procedure based care, Screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.
• Provide selected services for male partners of their patients such as genetic counseling and STI treatment.
• Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
