About The Position

We are looking for a passionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to help diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team with multiple providers, specialists, and other clinical and administrative staff. The role involves focusing on health promotion and disease prevention, management, and mitigation. The APRN will participate in patient visits with the goal of disease management, mitigation, and prevention, identification of chronic conditions, and coordinating with patient primary care and specialty providers as necessary and appropriate. Responsibilities may include ordering, performing, or interpreting diagnostic tests, and completing and prescribing medication for patients in accordance with licensure and scope of practice. The work will entail telehealth and in-home patient visits.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
Current National Certification in Family, Adult, Gerontological, or Primary Care Practice
Current State of Hawaii Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-RX (APRN-RX) Licensure
Current State of Hawaii Controlled Substance License
Current DEA Registration
Current Basic Life Support Certificate
Minimum of 2 years experience working as an APRN

Responsibilities
