About The Position

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides a comprehensive health assessment and evaluation for patients in the clinic under the supervision of the medical director. This position provides health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of a physician including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients. This position works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. The APRN orders and interprets appropriate tests i.e. labs, EKG, and Xrays under physician supervision. Requirements

  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification
  • Supervision by a medical director
  • Physician's direction and responsibility for patient care services
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, prescribe, treat, and educate patients
  • Collaboration with physicians and other clinicians
  • Ability to order and interpret tests (labs, EKG, X-rays) under physician supervision
