About The Position

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a part-time BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pain Management team in O'Fallon, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. This is a part-time position, working Fridays only, with no holiday or weekend work required. The practice is well-established and growing, with dedicated support staff to assist with practice flow. Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, HSHS has 13 hospitals and numerous community-based health centers and clinics, with over 13,000 colleagues building a culture based on core values of respect, care, competence, and joy. Requirements

• Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start
• Board Certified
• Master’s degree in Nursing is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
• Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of practice experience as an NP or PA is preferred, but not required.
• Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
• Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
• Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
• Federal DEA license is preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
