About The Position

Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches (MSPB) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care directly in patients' homes, helping improve outcomes, close gaps in care, and enhance the overall patient experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care outside of the traditional clinical setting.

Requirements

  • Active Florida RN and APRN license.
  • Master's or Post-Master's degree from an accredited program.
  • Ability to meet Florida protocol requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an APRN.
  • Experience providing care to adult and geriatric populations.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, and EMR systems (Athena experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Compassionate, adaptable, clinically confident, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Thrive in an independent work environment, demonstrate sound clinical judgment, and are passionate about improving healthcare access and outcomes for the communities you serve.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations in patients' homes and/or through telehealth.
  • Obtain patient histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and practice guidelines.
  • Provide patient and family education on disease management, medication adherence, preventive care, and available healthcare resources.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and case reviews to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
  • Identify and address gaps in care, including preventive screenings, immunizations, and chronic disease management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, DEA, State Board regulations, and federal healthcare guidelines.
  • Maintain active licensure, certifications, and credentialing requirements.
  • Participate in required compliance, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
