Advanced Practice Provider - North Colorado Springs Clinic - No Weekends
About The Position
Mountain View Pain Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient pain management setting. The provider will work with both new and established patients, helping develop and manage comprehensive treatment plans. This role offers a predictable outpatient schedule with no on-call duties or weekend requirements, and provides training in interventional pain procedures within a collaborative, team-based environment focused on improving patient function, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life.
Requirements
- Active NP or PA license (required)
- Active DEA license (required)
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, or neurosurgery preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Perform musculoskeletal and focused physical exams
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications in accordance with guidelines
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Perform minor procedures (training provided)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR
