About The Position
Urgent care practice seeks a Family, Urgent or Emergency Medicine APP to serve our well-established practice with a growing patient base. This role offers excellent work/life balance with no weekends, no call, no afterhours, and no follow-up required. The practice is supported by primary care and specialty services located nearby, and includes onsite labs, point-of-care labs, and imaging. Provider support tools include Ambient AI Scribe technology (DAX).
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in urgent care or a related field is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
