APP - Surgical Services - Davenport - $10K Starting Bonus
About The Position
MercyOne Genesis is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join our surgical team in Davenport, Iowa. This position offers a dynamic blend of operative and inpatient care, working alongside a diverse group of general surgeons. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who enjoys a fast-paced surgical environment and values team-based, high-quality patient care. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week with a daytime schedule and flexibility based on surgical volume. Call opportunities are available on a voluntary basis.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Board certified/eligible (PA-C or NP)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
Nice To Haves
- Surgical experience preferred; new graduates with strong surgical training will be considered
Responsibilities
- Serve as first assist in the operating room across a variety of surgical procedures
- Perform inpatient rounding and ongoing patient management
- Evaluate and manage consults in the Emergency Department and hospital setting
- Provide post-operative follow-up care, including limited clinic responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
