About The Position
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider to join the ENT / Head and Neck Surgery surgical service line team at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The role provides care for patients with head and neck cancer across clinic and hospital settings. The schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, five days per week, with alternating weekend call responsibilities.
Requirements
- For the Physician Assistant pathway: a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited PA program and national board certification.
- For the Nurse Practitioner pathway: licensure as a nurse, approval to practice as a nurse practitioner in Georgia, and national certification.
Responsibilities
- See patients in clinic and assist with clinical procedures.
- Round on patients in the hospital.
- Assist in managing post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital.
- Evaluate post-operative patients in clinic.
- Apply specialized skills to care for patients with head and neck cancer.
- Contribute to patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and organizational leadership.
