About The Position

About Family Health Care Family Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center located in West Central Michigan. Founded in 1967 as one of the first community health centers in the nation, we provide medical, dental, laboratory, radiology, behavioral health care, vision, and retail pharmacy services at six main offices located in Baldwin, Big Rapids, Cadillac, Grant, McBain and White Cloud. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school for Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
State of Michigan Medical License
State of Michigan Controlled Substance License
Federal DEA License
Board Certified

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as an NP or PA in primary care preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Treat all ages including newborns, pediatric, and adult patients.

Benefits

4 or 5-day work week
Minimal on-call schedule
Generous administrative time (4 hours weekly)
Realistic productivity standards (2 patients per hour)
Eligible for up to $75,000 in loan repayment through NHSC for two years, and $20,000 each subsequent year.
Eligible for up to $300,000 in loan repayment through MSLRP over ten years.
