Xpress Wellness is seeking a provider for our Garden City, KS location. This role is responsible for providing primary, urgent, and episodic patient care in accordance with established standards, clinical guidelines, and company protocols.

Requirements

  • Willingness to work at our Garden City, KS location.
  • Medical Doctor — MD/DO — Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution.
  • Must obtain and maintain an active professional license.
  • Nurse Practitioners must hold current board certification.
  • Must meet all applicable state and federal licensing requirements, including DEA registration.
  • Must maintain current Basic Life Support — BLS — certification.
  • Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices.
  • Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, bloodborne pathogen standards, and related compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications, including internet use, email, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to supervise, train, support, and evaluate both new and existing provider staff.

  • One year of experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments for urgent, emergent, and non-urgent visits.
  • Order, perform, review, and interpret diagnostic testing, imaging studies, and lab results to evaluate patient conditions and guide clinical decisions.
  • Analyze diagnostic reports, test results, and patient findings to determine appropriate diagnoses.
  • Prescribe or administer medications, treatments, therapies, vaccinations, and other medical interventions to treat or prevent illness and injury.
  • Perform clinical procedures, including laceration repairs, orthopedic-related care, and other urgent care services within scope of practice.
  • Explain medical procedures, diagnostic results, treatment options, and follow-up instructions to patients.
  • Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and follow-up notes accurately in the patient record, ensuring charts are completed and closed within 24–48 hours.
  • Support communications related to recruiting, training, trade events, and other operational needs as assigned.
  • Provide medical orders, clinical direction, patient care services, consultation, staff supervision, and chart review as appropriate.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
