About The Position

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team in Northern Colorado. This is a 100% outpatient, office-based, non-procedural role focused on consultation, evaluation, and ongoing management of patients with vascular disease. Providers will care for patients with conditions including venous insufficiency, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), pelvic congestion syndrome, and other vascular disorders. The APP will work closely with our vascular physicians while practicing independently within their scope once fully trained. Previous vascular, vein, or wound care experience is preferred.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in an inpatient, outpatient, or surgical setting
Vascular experience required
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Active Colorado NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
National certification: NP: AANP or ANCC PA: NCCPA
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

Nice To Haves

Previous vascular, vein, or wound care experience is preferred.
Procedural experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with vascular conditions.
Develop individualized treatment and care plans.
Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
Address patient questions, follow-up concerns, and urgent clinical needs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
