Intermountain Health
•$63 - $97•Onsite

About The Position

Join Intermountain Health’s interdisciplinary Pediatric Critical Care team within the Heart Center at Primary Children’s Hospital, with a primary focus on the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The role cares for newborns through early adults in a high-acuity, quaternary referral environment serving families across the Intermountain West. The APP is expected to bring sound clinical judgment, advanced procedural skills, and calm leadership to rapidly evolving situations while working closely with APPs, intensivists, cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, nurses, respiratory therapists, perfusionists, pharmacists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated, family-centered care. The full-time schedule averages three 12-hour shifts per week. Because the CICU provides around-the-clock care, shifts include days, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Additional shifts may be available during respiratory season, depending on patient volume and department needs. PRN and part-time arrangements may also be discussed. Compensation includes a base salary commensurate with APP experience, with eligibility for quality incentive, schedule burden, and extra shift pay. The position also offers paid time off, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance coverage, and an annual CME allowance, in addition to the employer’s comprehensive benefits package.
