The Center for Occupational Medicine & Environmental Health Promotion, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to join their team. Under indirect supervision, the ideal candidate will provide primary occupational health care, plus evaluation of some non-occupational health care in a clinic setting to a specified population of non-emergency patients. This person will supervise and coordinate clinic support staff as well as complete related administrative duties as delegated by the Medical Director. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well within a team setting. Under general supervision, provides independent acute and/or routine medical care to a specified population. Provides consultation and advice to others as a highly-specialized practitioner. May supervise support staff in an out-of-hours or remote clinical setting.
