About The Position
Provide care to hospitalized geriatric oncology patients in an independent, collaborative, and interdisciplinary practice model. Collaborate with primary disease management teams and provide geriatric consultative care to patients with various stages of cancer. Facilitate post-acute transitions from inpatient to outpatient care in accordance with patients’ values and goals.
Requirements
- Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- BLS certification
- Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
- Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- Related National NP certification
- BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience in geriatric oncology and/or graduate from an accredited oncology fellowship strongly preferred.
