Advanced Practice Provider - Urology
About The Position
Cooper Norcross Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for its urology surgery specialty in Camden, New Jersey. The APP assumes responsibility for practice within a clinical specialty and, in consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. The role includes assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating patients; providing staff and patient education; and participating in research. The APP serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant.
- New Jersey RN and APN licenses, or a Physician Assistant license, as applicable.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of urology experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patients.
