The Amyloidosis Center at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a full-time advanced practice provider (APP) to support its expanding program. This center is an international referral hub for patients with amyloidosis and rare protein misfolding diseases. The practice offers comprehensive multidisciplinary care to a diverse patient population from the U.S. and internationally. The APP will collaborate with cardiologists, hematologists, pulmonologists, nephrologists, neurologists, and gastroenterologists to coordinate patient care within an ambulatory multidisciplinary clinic, operating under a shared practice model. Key responsibilities include reviewing patient records, performing medication reconciliation, conducting patient intake, providing post-evaluation follow-up, and coordinating care. The APP will join an existing team of two experienced APPs and will have opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary clinical, research, and teaching conferences. Teaching and mentoring NP and PA students is also available. APPs receive faculty appointments in the Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology, commensurate with their experience. Opportunities for involvement in clinical research studies are also present.
