About The Position
US Heart and Vascular®, in partnership with HeartPlace, is hiring a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support a high-volume Dallas-based cardiology practice focused exclusively on interventional cardiology. The position is based at the North Arlington office. The APP will work closely with an interventional cardiologist and independently manage patient care, guiding and educating patients throughout their visits. The practice describes itself as Texas’s largest independent cardiology practice, with more than 50 years of commitment to patient care and innovation.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in cardiology; new graduates will be considered.
- Master’s degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Active Texas license or willingness to obtain one.
- Valid DEA license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Expertise in cardiovascular assessment and strong patient-care skills.
- Proficiency with EKGs, patient assessments, and comprehensive cardiology management.
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Prior APP experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong outpatient experience is ideal; the setting is primarily outpatient.
Responsibilities
